Kenya

Another new project has taken us to Kenya in East Africa. We have got together with the Africa Inland Church in Riruta who are working into Kawangware a peri-urban (slum) area northwest of Nairobi town. It spans approximately 3 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 800,000 people.  The majority of those people are families are earning less than a pound a day, if able to earn an income at all. Added to that the area, although slum, has the highest cost of living in the entire area.  It is therefore not surprising that malnutrition, joblessness, and crime levels are very high.

Drop Inn Ministries is supporting the Church and particularly Paul Mwangi in a feeding programme that seeks to reach the neediest in Kawangware. This is no small vision but a real commitment, support and help for families who every day live in such hopeless conditions. We, through Paul are bringing them real HOPE!
